And whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.
Matthew 10:42
What is Biff Water? It is the name lovingly given by our friends on a plateau in Western Kenya to a small water filter that has changed their lives. Introduced by Bennie “Biff” Patton (father and grandfather of Doglegg Founders Randy and Kyler Patton), these simple “Biff Water” filters make clean water available where it wasn't previously.
Proceeds from every bottle of water sold at Doglegg Golf goes to further the mission of providing clean water to every human being one “Biff Water” filter at a time. Will you join us?

In 2001, Straw to Bread begins work with Bethlehem Home, on the Nyakach Plateau in WEstern Kenya. They aim to bring health, education, food security and clean water to a Luo community.
In 2010, Bennie “Biff” Patton (father/grandfather of Doglegg Golf founders Randy and Kyler Patton) made his first trip to Kenya with a group known as Straw to Bread.
Recognizing an undeniable need for clean water, Biff began to research effective ways to affordably and efficiently address this problem.
Biff is introduced to Sawyer Filters and the “international bucket system” which is capable of filtering 99.99% of all solids, bacteria and parasites responsible for waterborne illness.
As a result of his ongoing commitment to making these filters available to our Luo friends, these bucket filtration systems have become affectionately known as "Biff Water" across the plateau.
After their first trip to the Nyakach Plateau, Randy and Tonya joined Biff in witnessing both the immense need and the unwavering spirit of the Luo community. That journey sparked a deep, personal commitment to continue the family’s mission of service and support.
When Biff, Randy, and Tonya returned to Kenya with Straw to Bread, the “Biff Water” mission grew stronger than ever. Together, they expanded the project—distributing more than 475 water filtration systems to Bethlehem Home members across 47 communities—and Biff officially passed the torch to Randy and Tonya to carry the work forward.
